ESD foot wear is also the first line of defence against electrostatic charges build up on the human body. It is designed to carry away this charge as soon as it is generated. At the same time foot wear must remain electrically safe for the user. Thus, it is important to test every foot wears regularly.
In order to protect the sensitive electronic components the maximum foot wear resistance should not be more than 100 Meg ohms. The footwear tester checks these parameters under actual operating conditions with operator & foot wear. It clearly indicates the resistance of the foot wear system including the wearer is less than 100 Meg ohms or NOT.
The instrumented is designed for measuring the conductive foot wear also, so the instrument measurement is ranged from 0 to 100 Meg ohms.
FOR CHECKING FOOT WEAR: Simply stand on the foot plate and press gently on the metal sensor plate; the instrument comes on automatically when this is done. The operator can check whether the resistance of the foot wear falls with in the acceptable range (0 - to 100 Meg Ohms), This is indicated by Analogue dial. |

The Static Charge Meter is a non- contact, low cost, light weight static monitoring and locating instrument. It utilises a centre-zero meter display to indicate the magnitude and polarity of the electrostatic charge. The instrument has good directional sensitivity and is ideal for measuring electric charges encountered in critical electronic assembly and storage areas as well as Antistatic Work stations. It can also be used for Plastics, Paper, Textiles, Food, Explosives and Industries. Pharmaceutical The unit gives direct readings of electrostatic potentials on any surface, when held at a distance of 2.5 cms. However, virtually any electrostatic potential can be measured by proportionately increasing the distance from the meter to the charged object.

Wrist Straps are the first line of defense against electrostatic charge build-up on the human body. They are designed to carry away this charge as soon as it is generated This model WSM-03 continuously monitors the wrist strap to detect loss of continuity between operator and monitor. Conditions such as broken coil cords and improper contact with the skin are detected instantly to alert the operator before serious and expensive ESD damage can occur. As there is no resistive return path from the wrist strap, it uses the “Capacitive AC pulse principle” to check if the operator is adequately grounded. The system is automatically activated when the wrist strap is plugged in. Continuous monitoring reduces the need for periodic checks and audits and also ensures greater security. FEATURES: ABS Plastic box with external mounting brackets to mount the monitor under the table for saving work surface space. |

Reliable on-the-spot measurement of static charges has been easier than with the portable SCM-02. Hand-held, yet highly accurate and low drift, the SCM-02 answers three basic questions:
1) Is static present and on what Surfaces, Materials or people? 2) How much static? 3) What is the polarity of the Charge?
The instrument is ideal for use in such static sensitive environment as electronic component production and assembly areas, clean rooms, computer, medical and R&D Laboratories, surgical rooms, medical device manufacturer, printing press, packing and production lines, etc. The unit gives direct readings of electrostatic potentials on any surface, when held at a distance of 1 Inch. However, virtually any electrostatic potential can be measured by proportionately increasing the distance from the meter to the charged object. |

Voltage Checker With Hazard Alarm :
Human Body Voltage Checker is a new and unique visual method of detecting how much static charge a person is carrying. The unit can be wall mounted outside the ESD protected area to avoid charged persons unknowingly entering, or used by operators to periodically check that they are not creating a charge within the protected area. It is very simple to use and only requires the personnel under test to touch the plate on the instrument and directly read the charge level on the meter. Apart from the measuring the charge, it can also be used to safely drain away the charges Existing on the body. It has a feature of visual and audible warning when it detects voltage over a certain threshold.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: The instrument must always be connected to ground; not grounding the unit can result in inconsistent results. The circuit will only become responsive when you offer a path to ground.
APPLICATION: 1. Human Body Voltage Checker can be used to detect how much static a person is carrying. 2. Human Body Voltage Checker will audit any potential static generator or dissipater, like. Wrist straps, heel grounders, toe straps, static safe shoes, chairs, floor mats, ground leads, purpose built floors, garments, static sprays, floor finishes, etc....

The unit can be wall mounted outside the ESD protected area to avoid charged persons unknowingly entering. The meter must always be grounded to produce an accurate measurement. But more importantly to allow the operator to discharge to a safe handling limit. Touch the Touch to test, and watch the LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY indicated between 0 to 1999V of the static charge +/- Polarity. |

LED LCD Surface Resistivity Meter :
The Surface Resistivity Meter measures both surface resistance and resistance to ground. This is meant for use in evaluating a wide variety of ESD protective materials including tablemats, floor mats, and hard ESD-laminates. It measures and displays Surface Resistivity as well as surface to ground and point-to-point resistances. These measurements can be done in the range of <10E3 to >10E12 ohms by using two 2.5-kilo (5lb) heavy electrodes or through internal probes. To check whether surface Resistivity is in accordance with EOS/ESD Association standards S-4.1. |

The Static Alarm SA-01 is a portable, battery-operated instrument, incorporating the latest technology, to indicate the presence of approaching static electricity. It is designed to provide a quick and convenient method of locating static charges. It is primarily intended for use in static-safe handling areas, as an early warning system to alert the personnel nearby. The hazard may be in the form of personnel who are generating static or personnel who may be holding a charged object without observing the standard safety procedures for handling static sensitive devices. The instrument incorporates a unique self- resetting feature and therefore requires no manual adjustments or zeroing. It can be kept 'ON' for continuous monitoring of critical static-safe areas. |

OPERATION: A static charge on any object produces an electric field whose strength is an inverse function of the distance from the charge. A given magnitude of charge always produces a given field strength at a given distance. The unique sensor of the instrument actually responds to this electric field. However, more specifically, it senses only changes in the electric field, so to detect a charge there should be relative motion between the instrument and the charged body. SPEFIFICATIONS:
